Ready for AI tools that truly help?

AI here, AI there. Everyone’s talking about it, but which tools actually help you in the research process? And which are just flashy nonsense?

The problem: Most people randomly try out various AI tools without understanding where they help – and where they fail. The result? Frustratingly mediocre outcomes and wasted time.

Let’s do it differently. In this workshop, we won’t just test AI tools – we’ll apply them to real research scenarios. You’ll learn which tools actually add value, where their limits are, and how to strategically integrate them into your workflow.

Why You Should Join

Practical relevance without the fluff

We won’t just test tools – we’ll apply them to real-world scenarios. No theoretical gimmicks.

Develop sound evaluation skills

After this workshop, you’ll know which AI tools are truly useful and when they hit their limits – no more costly trial and error.

Achieve more efficiency in your research routine

Save time and resources by using AI strategically for repetitive or time-consuming tasks – not for everything.

Find tailored use cases

We’ll discuss how AI tools can help with your specific daily work – tailored solutions instead of one-size-fits-all.

What to Expect

Introduction to Common Tools in the Research Process

What AI tools are actually out there, and what can they do?

  • Result quality: How precise and reliable is the output – honest evaluation

  • GDPR compliance: Which tools are legally safe to use – essential for real projects

  • Practical value: Which applications are truly helpful in everyday work – and which are just a waste of time

Conducting Interviews with AI Bots – Opportunities and Limitations

Automated interviews? What once seemed unthinkable is now reality:

  • We’ll test two different interview bots and experience their pros and cons firsthand – honest feedback

  • Analyze how the interview flow can be adapted to generate relevant insights

  • Discuss in which scenarios automated interviews make sense – and when human moderation is still essential

Interview Analysis with AI – Turning Data into Insights

AI doesn’t just generate text – it can analyze data too. But how well, really?

  • How AI tools can help analyze large volumes of interview transcripts efficiently

  • Which prompting techniques lead to structured, meaningful results – practical examples

  • What options exist for using AI to conduct automated frequency analyses – and where the limits lie

Identifying AI Potential in Daily Work – A Look Ahead

The key question: How can AI tools support you in your daily work?

  • Identify repetitive, time-consuming tasks that AI could take over

  • Start developing ideas for streamlining your processes

  • Work out concrete use cases for your company or personal work environment
